Marine Environmental Solutions is an interesting brief - being that they work to keep the reef clean by organising waste transfer and dumping from large commercial tourism vessels rather than the vessels dumping at or on return from the reef.
Our intention for this design was to bring in the aquatic elements by creating a wave piercing vessel that had a clear "green" message.
The font was developed to be clean also, as was the supporting collateral - subliminally inferring the "eco" friendly message. We used the ecologically promoted colours to enforce the clean conduct of MES and to build trust in this new concept.
